Now that you have decided to prioritize your health, you will need to focus on your intake. Not just your caloric intake, but the quality of what you are eating. It is important to give your body the high quality fuel it needs.
Depending on your fitness goals, your dietary needs will be different. If you are looking to gain muscle mass, you will want to stock up on proteins and fats. If endurance is your game, carbs are going to be your best friend. If you want to tone your body, lean proteins are critical to your success. If you want to shed some pounds, you will want to cut out the saturated fats and focus instead on upping your fiber intake.
